Yes, thats right I received three Zoya nail polishes for $6.95! I found out about the promotional code through several blogs on my google reader and thank goodness I did. I have always wanted a bottle of Zoya polish but I didnt want to pay $7 +shipping and handling for a polish I didnt really know what it looked like. The pictures are rarely the same color as the actual product.

The colors I picked were Shawn, Flowie and Marcella.

I ordered the polishes on January 8th and received them on the 30th. I expected the shipment to take a long time due to soooooo many orders being placed. I am now a Zoya fan! I like these polishes because they last very long. The picture below was taken after I wore the polish for five days and as you can see they haven’t chipped. I have also realized that if I search the polish images on google I can get a pretty good image of what the color looks like.

This is my first MSF and I must admit I was skeptical about buying this one. I was concerned that it was too orange and wasn’t sure how it would look with my skin complexion. But when it went on sale earlier on the MAC website, I decided to go for it. I wouldn’t usually pay $35 for any type of make-up but since I read you were getting twice as much but not paying twice the price, it quickly became a bargain!

When I opened the compact I fell in love. It is gorgeous…

My one gripe is, where is the mirror?! That should be standard! LOL. Luckily I saw a mirror that may fit this compact perfectly at BigLots and I’ll just glue it in.

The colors can be used individually or all together. The glow this MSF gives is gorgeous! I like it best when I used each color individually and then go over my entire face with a mixture of all colors. It is really pretty and it matches with my skin tone perfectly. It doesn’t look orange at all.

This one is still available on maccosmetics.com (the pink one is sold out) and will be available for purchase in stores February 10th for $35. I highly recommend this product!

OMG! Time flies and I haven’t even had that much fun! I have sooooo many makeup products I have bought recently and I also have a new love, HAIR PRODUCTS. I have been on a hair journey since June and have seen great results. The above picture is me rocking my real hair, something I couldn’t do a year ago. I stopped blogging because I became so busy with work and working on myself, I didn’t have the time or the desire to blog, I also wasn’t buying make-up or even wearing any. It was getting very expensive buying every product just so I could review it on my blog! Now, I cant promise that I will be back on my blogging roll but I will be back to posting more. I am going to try 1x a week and go from there. I knew it was time to get back to this because I would find myself talking to myself about a new product I loved and no one to share it with! P.S. Below is a picture of my nails last week. I used Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips in Skinny Jeans ($9.99 @ Walgreen’s) and rhinestones I purchased off eBay. The Sally Hansen Nail Strips were not to hard to apply but I prefer them on my toes. It last longer on my toes and it was really easy to apply on them so that’s my preference.

Ingredients

~1lb of ground turkey (I like Jennie-O)

~1 small onion (chopped)

~1 medium green pepper(chopped)

~1 packet of taco seasoning

~Corn tortillas

Toppings (all optional)

~shredded romaine

~ shredded cheese

~tomatoes

~sour cream

~jalepenos

~salsa

Directions: Ground turkey for 2-3 minutes, add onions and bell pepper. The vegetables give the turkey great flavor. Cook until meat is browned.

Next add the packet of taco seasonings, I usually use half of the packet. Top with your favorite toppings and you will never think about getting tacos from your local fast food place again!

I usually wash my face before or after my shower, sometimes during but never really made a habit of it until now. Biore has really impressed me with their line of facial cleansers! I use this cleanser everyday in the shower and it does an EXCELLENT job at removing all of my make up. I use this with my Clarisonic Mia and OMG, the results are amazing! For review purposes the first time I used this product I stepped into the shower with a face full of makeup because it says it removes dirt and makeup. When I pumped some on my fingers I immediately smelled menthol like my Neutrogena Deep Clean Foam Cleanser which irritates my skin and makes my eyes water something terrible. This cleanser is different it felt really good on my skin and I rubbed the product all around my eyes and even over my eyelids and it didn’t irritate my eyes at all! The cleanser made my skin feel awake and refreshed.  I just knew when I got out of the shower I would have raccoon eyes but to my surprise my face was completely removed of make up, even my hard to remove eyeliner! I am very pleased with this product and when I touched my face it was soft and supple. This product get a A+. I purchased this at Wal-Mart for $7

This week I am wearing Sally Hansen Nude Now. In the picture it looks matte but it is glossy, it actually has shimmer in it. I took this picture with my Blackberry and it came out pretty good. My camera wasnt picking up the true color of the polish but my phone did! Any who, I love this nude color. I believe this color was almost $7 at Walgreen’s but I have found a dupe that is the exact same color as this and that is Wet n Wild’s nail color in Private Viewing for only $2.

Early last month I broke down and decided to give Proactiv a try. I was on QVC website and spotted a 6-pc system I wanted to try. The price was close to $70(I know, I’m crazy) but the reviews were great and QVC had it for 4 easy-pays of $19.99! I was sold! The kit is a two month supply and  included Deep Cleansing Wash, Oil-Free Moisturizer, Revitalizing Toner, Refining Mask, Renewing Cleaner and Repairing Lotion. A little background on my skin, I have always had acne until high school when my mom took me to a dermatologist. My skin cleared and it was clear for 10 years until I became pregnant. My skin was HORRIBLE during my pregnancy, it was covered with pimples and discolorations. When I had my son I used AcneFree and that system did pretty well on my skin but it didn’t clear it up completely. For the last year I have had breakouts here and there but nothing too bad. My last break out I decided to try Proactiv because I thought it would be a complete cure to my acne. Proactiv proved to be a total waste of time and MONEY! My skin broke out so bad! I had huge pimples all over my face, I was freaking out! I tried to remind myself of what my dermatologist told me years before, “your skin will get worse before it gets better.” I stayed with Proactiv and used the 3-step treatment daily for a month. The renewing cleanser stinks! It smells like a public restroom, I gagged every time I used it. This system made my skin super oily, dark spots everywhere and huge and small pimples all over my face. My skin had dry patchy dark spots around my mouth, it was not good. I must say the refining mask is really good as well as the repairing lotion. I also use the deep cleansing wash on my face and body. Now I am working on fixing the damage Proactiv has done to my skin. I know this system has worked for lots of people but not for me.

This is a soft sheer pink that I really like. This can be worn daily and it isn’t a bold pink at all! I was nervous because with the packaging you can’t see the color but it is really pretty.
